LinkedIn for business leads

Every business needs multiple platforms to generate leads. Companies invest a lump sum to generate qualified leads for businesses. LinkedIn, a strong tool that most are familiar with, can be used as a platform to connect with potential clients. This will help companies to generate the leads and revenue required for business growth.

My superior always says,“Everywhere there is an opportunity, if you do the right thing in the right way.”

Many a time, due to lack of awareness, most sales teams skip LinkedIn to connect with prospective clients. Here, I refer to some of my experience, which will help you generate leads via Linkedin. It has a global user base of over 740 million people as of 2021.

Initially when I started out as a sales professional, Linkedin had very few options to connect with people. Today, one can reach out to multiple individuals using LinkedIn’s many features.

Here are 5 top LinkedIn features that can help you to connect with relevant people to grow your business.

1. Write an article

This feature gives you the power to reach out to people looking for the kind of service you are offering, but are unable to find the right person. To use this feature you must do relevant keyword research that you can use in your article. This helps in making your post go viral. As a result, you will get more qualified leads.

2. Search filter

Linkedin provides an advanced search filter, which puts forth an accurate result based on your search. This helps you find an appropriate contact person, post or company result, which helps in business growth.

3. Direct message

Linkedin paid membership allows you to send a direct message to all other users, who are not even part of your connection. Using this feature you can directly message a client offering your service. This will also help you to increase your connections. Paid membership gives you a list of all users, who have viewed your Linkedin profile and you can mark them as a lead.

4. Groups

This feature allows you to connect with people having the same interest as yours. This helps in brainstorming and also gives you an opportunity to connect with a new client for business.

5. Lead management

Once you have enough leads from LinkedIn, you must ensure that they are organised. Customer Relationship Management(CRM) is the best way to manage them. HubSpot CRM is one of the top options that gives you the capability to convert your leads into clients.

It also has a number of tools and features that help you in identifying potential customers. However, as more people realise how useful the platform is for attracting new clients, being effective becomes more difficult. You'll need to go outside the box and pursue approaches that haven't yet reached their full potential if you want to generate as many fresh LinkedIn leads as possible. A tool that can assist you in finding the right leads is the LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
